Arrivederci Dinner Due

This post was supposed to go up on Saturday. I don't feel like changing it.

Last night was the arrivederci dinner for summer session two. It wasn't as sad this time around because the majority of us still have a week left.

We had dinner at Ristorante Comparone. It was a different 'ristorante' than last session, but just as yummy. We had appetizers (a plate full of different ones - including prosciutto and melon, YUCK!), two different kinds of pastas (gnocchi and amatriciana, my favorite), and dessert (gelato con fruit)- PLUS coke and bread. I enjoyed the Coke so much that I took some special photos. I know you all will be very proud when you see them. These dinners are always really fun. The conversations are so random and everyone just laughs the entire time.

After dinner Julie, Kristen, Jordan, Lacy, Sarah and I decided to walk home because it was such a nice night. There were lots of random things going on along the Tiber River. There was a outdoor movie (we couldn't figure out what it was), a boxing match, and a strange one man show going on. Kristen, Sarah, and I ended up getting separated from the others because we had to stop and take some pictures. Good thing we did that because otherwise we would have missed the "adorable" man on the street expose himself to us. It was just lovely, but I probably could have gone my whole life without seeing what I saw. It was actually quite terrifying. I have never experienced something so foul in my entire life. When in Rome I guess... Then we stopped at a gelateria when we finally got back to Prati. Gelato is always the best way to end a really great night.
My beautiful Mississippi girls.
Bread?
My typical indie plus tiny Italian car.
Movie on the Tiber River.
Boxing match along the Tiber.
Tiber is full of strange things at night...
