Rock in Roma

After our adventure in Tarquinia, a few of us went to the Rock in Roma shindig to see Jack Johnson. Boy, was he great! I forgot how much I love him. He spoke in Italian in between songs and talked about his wife (they have been together for 17 years). Here are some pictures. I have a couple videos but they take too long to post. I'm supposed to be writing my paper about The Merchant of Venice. Gosh, how I hate how school is getting in the way of my life. Why am I doing an extra year?
The aftermath of the concert is kind of a blur. We were under the impression that there would be countless cabs outside the concert area. We were wrong. Cabs were no where to be found. Long story short, it took us about an hour to hail down two cabs to take us back to Prati. It ended up costing us 12 euros each which wasn't all that bad considering we were so far away. Julie mentioned getting cornetti after we got back, but we were all pretty tired and defeated after the cab incident. However, once I got home all I could think about was that cornetto (or cornetti*) oozing with nutella...

*Cornetti is plural. They don't use 's' here - o changes to i and a changes to e. Just a little Italian lesson for y'all.
