Solo altre tre settimane...

I cannot believe that I only have three weeks left in Italy. Time has flown by. I really love it here in Europe and Rome really has a special place in my heart now. I do get frustrated almost every day by this beautiful city but that is one reason why I love it so much. It is such a blessing to realize that day to day life is not easy. I haven't really known the true meaning of that saying until now. The hardest parts of my life before this trip consisted of breakups, spats with friends, writing papers, and taking final exams - little did I know that there is so much more day to day life has to offer. I really do love those days where I can just sit around all day, read magazines, watch a season(s) of a TV show or movies, but I now think that those days should come in moderation (not including the 2 weeks after I get back :) - I will be practicing il dolce far niente Americano style). The only thing is, College Station life doesn't really have the same opportunities that Rome has offered me. I am not going to be able to walk to the Colosseo or meet my friends for 4 euro pizza at my favorite pizzeria after class anymore. The great thing is that I do still have three weeks left, but the sad thing is that I only have three weeks left :(. Life is too short and the scariest thing is the thought of my future without traveling back here one day... I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures - I think I am able to adapt quite well and I never really knew that about myself. I love all the little inconveniences, frustrations, and public transportation systems even though they do not love me back :).

This is just a little in between post because I know I have been slacking in the blogging department. Hopefully, I will get around to some more posts tonight. I love you and miss you all - can't wait to see most of you soon!
